MDB, Inc. is currently looking for an Environmental Health Science Research and Communication Specialist for projects in support of human and ecological health programs at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). This position will be located in MDB’s Durham, NC office.
Reporting to the Program Manager, the EHS Research and Communication Specialist will be responsible for conducting research and preparing materials in language and format appropriate for diverse target audiences within the EPA and NIEHS as well as the general public.
Specific responsibilities will include:

We are seeking an entry/mid-level Web Developer for a full-time position to work with a team of web and application developers to support websites and online tools for a government research institute. This is currently a 6 month contract position, with the possibility of up to a five year extension. This position requires experience with: HTML, XHTML, and CSS. JavaScript, jQuery, Web 2.0, XML, Acrobat, content management systems, and Cold Fusion a plus. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is critical.
Responsibilities will include:
Required Years of Experiences: 2-3 years of HTML or related programming experience.
Required Degree: None. Degree or certificate in IT Management, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Required Basic Qualifications: Code/modify pages using HTML/XHTML; layout web pages with CSS; edit images. Must be flexible. The ability to work independently, and as part of a team, is critical.
