Emmanuel Semawu is the Information Technology Director at MDB and a lead web and database developer with 19 years of experience using technologies such as ColdFusion, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Drupal, WordPress, VBA, HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, and others. He has extensive experience in web application security, database design and implementation, web accessibility compliance, and web server technology. He maintains ColdFusion websites for National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences client programs, has developed grant coding databases, and created the “Material Upload and Search Tool for Infectious Disease” (MUSTID) for the WTP Clearinghouse. Emmanuel enjoys programming, exploring new technologies, developing tools that improve user experience, and working with clients and teammates to deliver quality results. He also loves camping, soccer, cooking, and spending time with his family.
