Conference Planning & Meeting Support

MDB has extensive experience in planning and executing meetings, workshops and conferences. MDB meeting-support skills include providing logistical and administrative support, event planning, writing and editing, web site development and maintenance, and graphic design. MDB’s event planning includes establishing topics and purpose, budgets, dates, venues, transportation and providing a liaison for participants, attendees and event staff. In addition, MDB generates post-event reports and summaries highlighting proceedings and outcomes.

MDB has provided technical and planning services and support for numerous workshops and conferences, including a minimum of two workshops per year for the NIEHS Worker Education and Training Program. We provide support for several meetings and conferences that are jointly sponsored by multiple departments and agencies, including a 2007 conference on Protecting Avian Influenza Responders sponsored by USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. MDB has planned and executed more than 25 worker safety and health workshops and conferences.
