Rohita Patil, MPH, is a Community Engagement Specialist with a background in environmental public health, research, and environmental health communication. She supports programs for the Environmental Protection Agency and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Passionate about water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) research and community-centered public health, her interests include water quality and environmental resilience. A key part of her work is making scientific information more accessible and finding ways for public health efforts to better connect with the communities they serve. She values work that brings together science, communication, and collaboration to address public health challenges and support healthier communities. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, and attending live music events.
